the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. The word of God says I come that you might have life and that more abundantly.  
       
       When you are weak that's when he (God) makes you strong.

Stay focused on God

Distractions; are of the devil. When we get distracted by something, or someone we lose hope, we start fearing, we start beating up on ourselves, we start doubting our why. 
Stay focused on God, don't allow your why or the opinions of people to cause distractions in your life. 
Colossians 3:2 set your affections on things above and not on things on the earth.

As believers or non believers you must learn how to keep pushing in spite of what people may say or think.

Always know your WHY, if you don’t know your WHY. Start seeking the face of God. Matthew 6:33

Protecting your mind, at all times. Part 2

 The mind is a terrible thing to waste by focusing on your abuser. If God, has delivered you why should you be bound by self inflicted wounds and/or abuse. Free yourself from abuse. You are Gods chosen vessel you don't have to accept the attacks of the enemy. 
Allow God to heal you from people; self inflicted abuse meaning stop abusing yourself. 
 Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
